Table Notes and Explanations

(Please refer to the table below.)
  • Select view:
  • To compare the software in this project to the software available in other distributions, please see our Compare Packages page.
  • Notes: In case where multiple versions of a package are shipped with a distribution, only the default version appears in the table. For indication about the GNOME version, please check the "nautilus" and "gnome-shell" packages. The Apache web server is listed as "httpd" and the Linux kernel is listed as "linux". The KDE desktop is represented by the "kdelibs" and "plasma-desktop" packages and the Xfce desktop by the "xfdesktop" package.
  • Colour scheme: green text = latest stable version, red text = development or beta version. The function determining beta versions is not 100% reliable due to a wide variety of versioning schemes.

My daily driver for 6 months now. Stable & polished. Installer worked great. Live ISO also a nice feature. Highly recommended.

What a Killer!
If had learned my Linux lessen with the real good Linux Mint Cinnamon - but its a boring way to work with the PC.
The old Versions in the Package-Manger is a mess - things the people talk about is the new stuff on the INTERNET or on magazines.
The installation routine is the best I ever had worked with. You can choose out of 5 Desktops GNOME, KDE, Cinnamon, MATE OpenBox and for net books Xfce. Also you can activate or disable a firewall Steam and other APPS you would like to install or not.
You also can activate or not AUR Package support

I was wondering because of the 1,7 GB ISO - I recommend to activate the WIFI then the whole System is brand new - but leave it disabled if your Internet is lower than 6000.
Installation of the core content per DVD about 13 min and the direct update per Internet about 18 min.

Some Version # :

-Linux kernel 4.12.6-1-ARCH
-Cinnamon 3.4.6
-Libre Office 5.4.0.3
-VCL 3.0.0
-Notepad++ 7.4.2 32Bit (ft. PlayOnLinux)
etc. all new and fresh and working!

Try it - you should not miss it - no Dual boot get Antergos Linux Cinnamon the full load.
If you are afraid by an used Notebook from the INTERNET and let go.

Sys: Notebook Bj. 2013 no SSD 350GB HDD
Intel Core i5-3230M CPU @ 2.6 GHz 8 GB RAM
Its old but my system - my daily driver - I love it.

Terminal System update >sudo pacman -Syu

Beginner should start with Linux Mint Cinnamon -CC-

Thank you developers. This is by far the most complete, polished, functional distro I have run OOTB for my MacBook Air 2012. Super stable, everything just works and it is blazing fast!! This shames Mac OS.
